Study Delegation from Hong Kong Baptist University Visits CDUTCM-Keele Joint Health and Medical Sciences Institute
On the morning of June 18, a study delegation from Hong Kong Baptist University visited our university for academic exchange. More than 20 faculty and student representatives visited the CDUTCM-Keele Joint Health and Medical Sciences Institute. CHEN Yuan, Dean of the CDUTCM-Keele Joint Health and Medical Sciences Institute, received the visitors, accompanied by several teachers from the institute's General Affairs Center and Keele Affairs Center.
Dean CHEN Yuan first extended a warm welcome to the visiting faculty and student team and introduced the educational framework and program overview of the CDUTCM-Keele Joint Health and Medical Sciences Institute. Mr. LIAN Zikai, the institute's External Relations Officer, provided the visitors with a tour of the administrative offices, teaching and research facilities, and leisure areas. The visiting faculty and students highly praised the institute's unique Sino-British joint education model and its advanced facilities. During the visit, the institute presented the visiting team with creative canvas messenger bags as souvenirs, expressing the hope that they would gain valuable experiences from their visit to Chengdu.
Subsequently, Dean CHEN Yuan engaged in an in-depth discussion with the leading teacher from Hong Kong Baptist University. Both sides shared their experiences and insights on Sino-foreign cooperative education and explored potential collaboration opportunities in talent cultivation and scientific research. Dean CHEN Yuan emphasized that the CDUTCM-Keele Joint Health and Medical Sciences Institute consistently upholds an open and inclusive attitude, welcoming outstanding students from around the world to engage in exchanges and visits, and jointly contribute to the development of traditional Chinese medicine and the advancement of human health.
